Change API Link

The API link you have should point to the business you are operating in the apps you have installed.

Accessing API Settings​

After installing the application, navigate to the API Setting section by clicking on the Pointless Icon repeatedly until you reach the configuration window.

What You Will See​

Enter your subdomain and select your domain to connect to your API. For example: tappys.pointlesposdemo3.com

The API link is entered in two parts:

Subdomain — This is the unique name for your business location. For example, if your full address is tappys.pointlesposdemo3.com, your subdomain is tappys.

Domain — Select your domain from the dropdown list. The available options are:

  • pointlesposdemo1.com
  • pointlesposdemo2.com
  • pointlesposdemo3.com (default)
  • Custom... — if your business uses a different domain, select this option and type it in the field that appears below.

Saving Your Settings​

Click Save to apply the new API link. The app will reconnect using the address you entered.

Click Exit to leave the settings screen without saving.

Enable Compression​

There is also an option to enable compression on this screen. This can improve performance on slower networks.
