Overview of Pointless installation​

You can install the APIs in one of two ways:

  • Hosted by Pointless or a verified installer
  • Self Hosted

Operating System & Software Requirements​

The following software is required to install this application:

  • Windows 10 +
  • IIS 10 +
  • SQL Server 2019 +

Hardware Requirements​

The recommended minimum specifications for the server and the workstation include the following:

Server:

  • Processor Determined by Business needs.
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 1 TB (determined by business needs)

VGA monitor

Client workstation:

  • Windows 10+, Android 10+
  • 4GB
  • 500 MB free space
  • SVGA monitor

The recommendations for the database server depend on your RDBMS vendor, DBMS architecture, data volumes, update rates, and other factors.
