FluentCRM

FluentCRM is a self-hosted customer relationship management and email marketing platform built for WordPress. It is included as part of the Pointless POS WordPress plugin, so if you have the plugin installed, FluentCRM is already available in your WordPress dashboard — no additional subscription required.

What FluentCRM Does

FluentCRM turns your WordPress site into a full marketing hub connected to your POS customer data. Key capabilities include:

Contact Management — Every customer who completes a transaction in Pointless POS can be synced to FluentCRM as a contact. You can view purchase history, tag contacts by behavior, and build dynamic segments for targeting.

Email Campaigns — Design and send one-time broadcast emails or recurring newsletters to your customer list directly from WordPress. No third-party email service needed beyond an SMTP provider.

Marketing Automations — Set up trigger-based sequences that fire automatically. For example: send a follow-up email 3 days after a first purchase, or enroll a customer in a loyalty drip when they reach a spend threshold.

Segmentation & Tags — Tag customers based on order frequency, product categories purchased, location, or custom fields. Use these tags to target campaigns or trigger automations.

Funnel & Sequence Builder — Build multi-step email sequences that nurture leads or re-engage lapsed customers over days or weeks.

Reporting — Track open rates, click rates, unsubscribes, and revenue attributed to campaigns.

Accessing FluentCRM

Once the Pointless POS WordPress plugin is installed and activated, navigate to WordPress Dashboard → FluentCRM in the left-hand menu. If this menu item is not visible, confirm the plugin is active under Plugins → Installed Plugins.

Connecting POS Customer Data

Pointless POS syncs customer records to FluentCRM automatically when the integration is configured. Customer email addresses captured at the POS — during checkout, loyalty enrollment, or account creation — flow into FluentCRM as contacts and can be tagged or enrolled in automations immediately.

To configure the sync, go to FluentCRM → Settings → Integrations inside WordPress and verify the Pointless POS connection is enabled.

Sending Your First Campaign

  1. Go to FluentCRM → Campaigns → Create Campaign.
  2. Choose a subject line, sender name, and reply-to address.
  3. Select or build a contact list or segment to send to.
  4. Design the email using the drag-and-drop builder or plain HTML.
  5. Send immediately or schedule for a future time.

Setting Up an Automation

  1. Go to FluentCRM → Automations → Create Automation.
  2. Choose a trigger — for example, Contact Created, Tag Applied, or Purchase Made.
  3. Add actions: send email, add tag, wait X days, update contact field, etc.
  4. Activate the automation — it will run automatically for any contact that matches the trigger going forward.
