Client Types & Product Sales Limits

Assign Client Types

Client types and limits must be configured for sales. This is not something we download from Metrc, but it is defined in the Point of Sale.

Client types would be Client (consumer), Patient, and Caregiver.
Limits are the maximum purchase amounts for metrc categories.

To configure the limits, you will assign several sections.

  • Item Types
  • Client Types
  • Client Profiles (patient profiles)

Client Types​

Each transaction is associated with at least the default type 'client'. This will define their default limits. For patients, they may have adjusted higher limits; and for some patients their settings are specific to the individuals' account. These patients will have values in their profile assigned.
