Catalog Navigation

Your online storefront supports multiple navigation structures that help customers find products. Each structure can be enabled or disabled independently for both customer and staff views.

All toggles are in Settings > Software & Hardware > Interfaces, under Home Page — Customer View.

Each structure has a parallel toggle under Home Page — Staff View for the in-app experience.

Browsing Flow

A typical customer browsing flow with all features enabled:

  1. Landing — customer sees the home page with store branding and featured categories.
  2. Department selection — choose a department from the main navigation.
  3. Sidebar filtering — narrow by brand, type, species, price range, or other filters.
  4. Product cards — browse filtered results as image cards with names, prices, and short descriptions.
  5. Product detail — click a card to view the full product page with gallery, description, pricing, and add-to-cart.
  6. Related products — at the bottom of the product page, see cross-sell recommendations.

When Catalog Schedules is enabled, different menu configurations can be active at different times of day or days of the week. For example, a breakfast menu from 6-11 AM, lunch from 11 AM-4 PM, and dinner from 4 PM onward.
