When tip prompts are enabled on the device, the payment screen presents tip percentage buttons before the card is charged. The percentages are configured by the admin in the terminal's DSI EMV settings. See Tip Selection for configuration details.

QR Payment with PAX A920

When a customer completes payment via the QR payment flow (scanning a QR code to pay on their own device), the PAX A920 device settings are loaded to ensure the handheld is available for receipt printing and further transaction actions.

Receipt Printing

After a transaction is approved, the PAX A920 can print the receipt directly from the handheld device. The Print button sends the full receipt, while Print Small sends a condensed version. If the PAX device is not configured for printing, the receipt falls back to the connected print server.
