  • Your business should have a guide that assists you in beginning to use the POS for your job requirements.
  • This guide can be used as a reference.
  • You can use this guide with our playgrounds. The playgrounds are our web apps used in a browser to give you many functional examples that be tested and tried at your own pace.

Getting Started​

Settings may be an obvious start to the application. We have an App Setup Guide that will walk you through each section of the software in order to help you set up each feature in the proper order. This can be accessed from ‘Software & Hardware Settings. This is strongly encouraged as the place you get your start when setting up your own system. In general, to find out about the features of the software, you can continue this guide in the order of the chapters.

Access Control​

Are you trying to do something you aren't allowed to? Do you need to stop someone from doing something they shouldn't?

Pointless is a secure app, that has levels of authority:

  • To set up a user, you simply have to register.
  • To get more elevated access, you will need to speak with Management or Admins
  • If you are an admin or manager, then please refer to the user guides on User Types to define behaviors for staff.
