Credit Card Processing
The Credit Card Processing panel configures merchant payment services. Pointless supports multiple payment processors, each with different setup requirements.
Terminal-Based Processors
These processors require a physical or software terminal assigned to a POS device. You configure the terminal in Settings > POS List > [Terminal], then enable the processor in Settings > Software & Hardware > Transaction Settings.
| Processor | Hardware Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| CardPointe Bolt | IDTech Bolt card reader | USB or Bluetooth card reader with CardPointe API |

| DataCap DC Direct | PAX A30, A35, Aries | Networked PAX pin pads using DC Direct protocol |
| DataCap Soft POS | Android device (NFC) | Android phone/tablet as card reader using built-in NFC |
| DataCap Android EMV | PAX A920 handheld | PAX A920 via Bluetooth (DSI EMV Android protocol) |
API-Based Processors
These processors handle payments through web APIs and do not require terminal assignment to a device. They are configured directly in the Credit Card Processing settings panel.

| Stripe | Online and in-person processing via Stripe API |
| PayPal | Online payments via PayPal |
DataCap PayAPI & Wallet Payments
