TriPOS integrates third-party POS terminals for card payment processing. Each terminal is assigned to a specific POS device using a lane ID.
Prerequisites
- TriPOS-compatible terminal hardware
- TriPOS merchant configuration with lane IDs
Terminal Assignment
Each device that uses a TriPOS terminal needs the lane and market code configured:
- Navigate to Settings > POS List.
- Select the terminal (device) that will use the TriPOS terminal.
- Scroll to the Payment Processing Settings section.
- In the TriPOS Lane ID field, enter the lane ID assigned to this terminal by your TriPOS provider.
- In the TriPOS Market Code dropdown, select the appropriate market code for your business type.
- Save the terminal settings.
The Lane ID tells the TriPOS system which register this device represents. The Market Code determines applicable tax rules and processing parameters.
