Device Info

The Device Info panel displays detected device information and provides debugging controls for the current terminal.

Debug Mode​

  • Debug on this Device — Toggle to enable debug mode. When enabled, additional diagnostic information is stored in localStorage and displayed during operation.
  • Test Sentry — Throws a deliberate error to verify that error reporting (Sentry) is working correctly on this device.

Device Type Detection​

Read-only checkboxes showing the detected device type:

  • Mobile Device — Detected as a phone.
  • Tablet — Detected as a tablet.
  • Desktop Device — Detected as a desktop or laptop computer.

Device Name​

  • Device Name — Enter a name for this terminal. The name is used to identify the device in the POS Device list and for peripheral assignments.
  • Save Name — Persists the device name to localStorage.

Assign the same device name here as the terminal name in the Settings > POS Devices list. This ensures that peripheral settings (printers, card readers) apply to the correct physical device.
