Printer

The Printer panel manages all printing configuration. The interface adapts based on the detected platform (Web, Android with Bluetooth, or Electron/Windows).

Platform Detection​

The panel displays the current platform at the top. Settings and available options differ by platform.

Default Receipt Template​

Select the default receipt template from the dropdown. This template is used for all receipt printing unless overridden by a specific print assignment.

Web Platform​

  • Print Test — Sends a test receipt to the browser's print dialog.
  • PDF — Converts the receipt to a PDF file.

Android Platform​

Android uses Bluetooth printers for receipt and label output.

  • Bluetooth Printers — Dropdown to select a paired Bluetooth printer.
  • Save — Saves the terminal's printer assignment.
  • Print Test — Sends a test receipt to the selected Bluetooth printer.
  • Devices — Link to the POS Device list for managing terminal peripherals.

Bluetooth device identification is only possible from the tablet the device has been paired with. Pair the printer to the Android device first, then select it here.

Electron (Windows) Platform​

Windows printing through Electron offers additional options.

  • Printer List — Shows installed Windows printers.
  • Print — Sends a test receipt to the selected printer.
  • Silent Print — Toggle to print without showing the print dialog.
  • Print Background — Toggle to include background graphics in prints.
  • Hide Print Window — Toggle to suppress the print preview window.
  • PDF — Converts the receipt to PDF.
  • Print ZPL Label — Sends a ZPL-formatted label test print.

Manage receipt and label templates.

  • Receipt Types — Dropdown to select a receipt type to edit.
  • Edit — Opens an HTML editor dialog to modify the selected template.
  • Reset Receipts — Restores all receipt templates to their defaults.

Label Templates​

  • Label View Selector — Choose a label template to view or edit.
  • Edit — Opens the label template editor.
  • Reset Labels — Restores all label templates to defaults.

Receipt Styles and CSS​

  • Receipt Styles — Dropdown to select a CSS style set for receipts.
  • Edit CSS Styles — Opens the CSS editor for receipt styling.
  • Reset CSS Styles — Restores CSS styles to defaults.
