Scale Settings

The Scale Settings panel configures a connected hardware scale for weigh-and-price operations. Used in retail environments where items are sold by weight (produce, bulk items, cannabis, etc.).

Settings​

  • Enabled — Toggle to enable or disable the scale integration. When disabled, the app ignores any connected scale device.
  • Decimal Places — Number of decimal places to display for weight values (e.g., 2 for pounds and hundredths).
  • Check Scale Timer (seconds) — How often (in seconds) the app polls the scale for weight updates. A shorter timer gives more responsive readings but uses more processing resources.

After changing settings, click Save. The scale integration requires a compatible scale device connected to the terminal (USB, serial, or Bluetooth depending on the platform).
